Stephen

Stephen grew up just down the road in Ballston Lake. His agricultural experience includes six seasons of diversified veggie row cropping and tending pastured livestock and five seasons of urban farming, which all came after six wild years of cooking in kitchens. For a ceaseless curiosity about food to have developed into this endlessly fascinating and nourishing vocation, he feels lucky and grateful. Stephen loves the systems, numbers, engineering and design of farming, as well as the smells, colors, grilling vegetables, and good clean exhaustion. When not in the fields he is most likely hanging with family, playing the piano, or slumped in a seat at the cinema.
