The Saratogian: Farm to school grant benefits Saratoga Springs City School District

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The Saratoga Springs City School District, in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County and Pitney Meadows Community Farm, is expected to benefit from a 2019 New York State Farm to School Grant.

The New York State Farm to School Program was created to connect schools with local farms and food producers to strengthen local agriculture, improve student health, and promote regional food systems awareness. Read more...
