Local Farms Resource List
Never has the idea of a strong local food system been more salient for so many. Community investment in our local farms at this time is essential. We're sharing a list put together by Saratoga PLAN of area farms and producers for you to consider. This is in no way an exhaustive list and we encourage you to share other farms with us. Please call ahead to any of these farms to learn how they are selling right now as they may have adjusted visitation processes. Our local Farmers' Markets, Saratoga Farmers' Market and Spa City Farmers' Market, are also still opened as they are deemed essential services. Buyers are practicing social distancing while shopping.

Please check out this open-source resource for identifying farms and restaurants open for consumers to access food. It was created by a group of Skidmore College students. Please share this widely and your farm or business to the map. The group has created a covid-19 landing page with links to three maps: one for local farms, one for school food, and the other for restaurant access.
